Just back from seeing Bridget Jones, which I thought was enjoyable if forgettable fluff and which
marymac thought was crap.
I was planning to either ponder on why I don't fancy Darcy at all when he's the typical stoic-Norrington type I usually go for, or look for Mark/Daniel slash (Daniel knowing exactly what Mark says in bed? And "you're not in court now, dear"? Nice.) On the second, I was amused to find that typing "Daniel Darcy slash" into google lead me to the fanlisting for
glossing. I have no memory of joining this, but I'm glad to be number 6, unless a giant murderous balloon comes after me.

But saying Dear doesn't make two characters slashable! On the Patrick O'Brien books, Jack and Stephen call each other "dear" "love" and things like that and they're not... Wait. Nah you're right ::goes find Master and Commander slash::
