I have about 400 pages of documentation for nebula-modelling software I should have read today and will now have to read all tomorrow. And I will get this goddamn B/A fic done tonight if it kills me.

Wait, is the word limit 1500? Buggery. Er, I'll have to make up the difference in drabbles if so, no way is this puppy going to be very far over the 1000 mark.

Oh, I have a waaaay overdue one of those too *g* (I even know what I want to write for that one, it's just getting it down... my problem with writing Spuffy and B/A is that I feel like everything's been done, and done by people better than me. Better than I. Whatever.)

Heh. Well, I just don't let that stop me. I also tend to get the peculiar bunnies, and dialogue in my head, so even if it's been done before, I still do it. (But mostly I seem to write non-S/B as written by a sentimental S/B-er.) My problem is also getting it down, though. Sometimes when I try it just doesn't come out right.

I see you posted, go you! While the Spuffy is what I'm supposed to be doing, what I seem to have in my head right now is something else. Naturally. :-p

Hee! The B/A? Took maybe five, six hours to get those 1000 words. I literally got nothing else done today.

Meanwhile I cranked out about 1000 words of Giles/Ethan in maybe half an hour without having to think overmuch about it. My brain hates me.

It took me a couple hours to add 550+ words to... an Angel/Wes fic. *sigh* It wasn't going at all, until I gave up on the idea of smooth transitions... in any case, I can always fix those later. But I did the smart thing and listened to the ones who were talking, because half my problems with fic is planning out scenes and arcs and conversations in my head, but not writing it down while it's churning. Recreating later is always a bitch.
