(no subject)

A casual glance at the calendar tells me I'll be 22 in exactly 2 weeks time.

Wibble. That seems more properly grown-up than 21. (My mother's already started the 'how can my baby be in her twenties' angsting)

Also I'm sitting here wondering how hard it would be to lead a daring raid on [livejournal.com profile] fox1013's university (with its unspellable name) and steal her and keep her forever, because she's too adorable.

::sigh:: Yes, I'm old enough to be your Mama and NOT have been a child bride. ::feels old::

22 was a pretty darn good year for me - hopefully, it will be for you, too! :)

I'm going through almost the exact same angst! I'm turning 22 in exactly four weeks time! WAH! I don't want to be that old. I'm barely old enough to be 21...

*offers comfort and shiny things*

::smacks you around::

Wait'll you hit 41, chica.

Welcome to The Oldness :P

Luckily I'm immature enough not to care.

OOh, 22! Well, if you're old, then I'm ancient at 25! But, I still don't feel like a grown-up! And, my mom does the same thing! I keep taunting her as I am only five years away from 30!! OMG!

[identity profile] doyle_sb4.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 08:17 am (UTC)(link)
*g* I'm already getting the "you'll be thirty before you know where you are".

I just hope I get accepted for my PhD. Staying in school till 25/26 sounds lovely.

[identity profile] dodyskin.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 08:24 am (UTC)(link)
The terrible thing about being 22 is that you get all the omg!I might actually die one day! angst about being old, but most of the world has no sympathy because they are older than you.

On the other hand, you get to be 22! YAY. We should have a club, the 22 club and you can only be in it if you're twenty-two, and not called Aisha because she smells. So grown up! ;)

[identity profile] moireach.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 09:03 am (UTC)(link)
Omg, I want in the club! Palindrome ages are the coolest, yo! ;)

[identity profile] fox1013.livejournal.com 2004-11-17 09:00 am (UTC)(link)
Ee! You're like a grown-up!

*dances around you in a youth-like fashion*

Also? As I am currently irritated and ready to get the fuck OFF this campus?

It would not be hard.

I'll have my bags packed.

Any specific DVDs or videos you'd like me to bring on my kidnapping?

*snuggles you like whoa*

Muppets! Bring muppets! :kidnaps:

I turned 22 in April. It was definitely a 'omg I'm getting old' birthday.

Yet you're already in grad school working on spectrums of distant galaxies in the department.

...

You're my hero. *worships*

Birthday

:mope: I didn't know it was on last night, I saw Chris and Katy and they said the room booking had been cancelled. This is my own fault for not being on the mailing list...
