Also, we watched most of Once More With Feeling, leading me to reminisce about seeing Buffy for the very first time ever. My main impression from the episode was: Spuffy and Giles. Giles, Giles, Giles. Giles is utterly gorgeous in this episode, and he had me at hello. And I don't care how many times he uses the word 'father' in his song, I was (and am) convinced he wanted to shag Buffy. My friend Hazel watched it and tried to persuade me that Giles and Tara would be a beautiful couple, though, so it could all be a personal interpretation thing.

Here's how I see it: Giles whisks Buffy and Tara away to Europe. Dawn's fine by herself since she's living with Anya, who's all newly single since Xander became Sweet's queen. Spike's... somewhere. Probably doing some patrolling in between taking Dawn to strip bars and teaching her to cheat at poker. Meanwhile, Giles and Buffy and Tara are having lots of sex in Paris.
