Also, we watched most of Once More With Feeling, leading me to reminisce about seeing Buffy for the very first time ever. My main impression from the episode was: Spuffy and Giles. Giles, Giles, Giles. Giles is utterly gorgeous in this episode, and he had me at hello. And I don't care how many times he uses the word 'father' in his song, I was (and am) convinced he wanted to shag Buffy. My friend Hazel watched it and tried to persuade me that Giles and Tara would be a beautiful couple, though, so it could all be a personal interpretation thing.

Yeah, see, I started watching way back before the Spuffy ever happened, way back around Lover's Walk, and I turned to my friend, sitting up on the bed and said 'What the hell is she doing with that broody dude? That blonde guy is way hotter. They should make out.'

And with that, a Spuffista was born. I got all mad at her the next week when the hot blonde guy wasn't on the show and I had to settle for that short guy who played the guitar who wasn't hot but he was really funny.

Ahaha. Must be an Irish thing, we like our men compact. I think Oz is close to the top of the hot Buffy guys list for just about everyone in my household. Including the guys (one of whom described it as "he's a riddle wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a Rubix Cube").

Which may be why Doyle/Oz is one of my very favorite brainpictures. Also, I want to move into your household. Yes.

Oh! Irish question for you - I was once visiting with one of my elderly neighbours and took my tea as I usually do, with milk and sugar but very dark nonetheless. And she said, You must be Irish. Here's what I'm wondering: Is that an Irish-*American* thing or an Irish thing or was she just nutty?

That's how I take tea (apart from the sugar), but [livejournal.com profile] thecount_ha and [livejournal.com profile] connorbeast view my kind of tea with fear and loathing... so possibly a specifically regional Irish thing?

Neat!
I'm drinking lapsang souchong and swimming in G/Ohappy of it all. But the gf's viewing it with, yeah. Fear and loathing at the milk.

Mmm, lapsang souchong! I like my tea very strong with sugar and milk as well (though I'm trying to avoid milk somewhat these days). The other day I had lapsang souchong with lemon and sugar, and it was delicious...

*g* The first time I saw OMWF, my tape was missing the previouslies. I knew nothing about the show. I managed to go a week without realizing that Spike was a vampire...
