Nov. 5th, 2004 07:15 pmI was looking at yesterday's Guardian. I *love* their reaction to the election: the G2's front cover is a completely black page with just the words "Oh, God." in the centre. (I'd've gone for 'oh, fuck' myself but I'm not sure they're allowed to print it.) I also love the journalist's comment about staying up "till 4:30 in the morning; long enough to cry like a girl."
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail smugly applauds Bush's wonderful victory for the 'moral majority' and manages to come out with the stupidest thing I've ever read in their paper, which is quite a feat:
"Not only would [gay marriage] undermine the institution of marriage itself, but it further called into question what it meant to be human."
Leaving aside the confusing mid-sentence change from future to past tense: what the hell does that even mean?
