Nov. 4th, 2004 08:37 pmI promise I'll stop talking about Teachers eventually (but not before I figure out how to make icons without photoshop). But I love this exchange:
Matt, to Kurt and Brian: I bet you two have had a quick snog, just to see what it's like.
Brian: Fuck off!
Lindsey: After twelve pints, Kurt probably looks quite attractive.
Kurt: Fuck off!
Matt: He's the same height as a girl...
Lindsey: And he's a pervert, so he'd probably do things most other girls wouldn't.
It's the last episode of the third series, which is also the episode where Kurt and Brian start to worry they might be in love with each other (on the *incredibly* compelling evidence of each other's dilated pupils). I love my dead gayshow characters.

on 2007-08-31 09:29 pm (UTC)a. Tell you that your posts about Brian/Kurt have totally made my evening.
b. Did you know that you are one of the only recorded fanfiction writers for Teachers on the net? I googled it and you were pretty much the only person to come up.
I remember when Teachers was first on, but it was only this summer that I brought the first 2 Series on dvd (because, to me, Series 3 and 4 do not exist, damn it!), and, like and obsessive person would do, I went in search of fanfiction. And there is seriously none with the exception of yours and one or two others on
Are you still a fan?
My mission is to write some fics of my own in the next few weeks, which will all be either Brian/Kurt or Simon/Susan.
...and, really, I just needed someone to squee at :D ♥

Oh, series 4, definitely - I didn't even watch it past episode 1 - but there's so much pure joy in season 3! Kurt and Brian's divorce episode! Simon's return! And all stuff not Kurt and Brian related can be cheerfully ignored...

Awesome, on both counts - I definitely want to read those when you're done. There's so little fic out there (I know the solution is always "write some yourself" but Doctor Who fandom swallowed me whole three years ago and I haven't managed to write for anything else since). I've requested Teachers for the

on 2007-09-01 07:15 am (UTC)Ah, three years ago...I remember it well. My parents shouting to me and my brother to come downstairs. 'A new series of Doctor Who is on,' they said. 'You have to sit down and watch it.' My brother made a mad dash for the door, managing to escape. Me? I was threatened with being tied to the chair.
And so I sat down and watched as 'Rose' aired and Christopher Ecclestone and Billie Piper filled the screen with all their awesomeness.
By the end of the episode I was jumping around the house declaring it the Best Show Ever! And I still stick to that (with the possible exception of Life On Mars which just blew my mind). I'm not sure my parents could ever have guessed just how hooked they'd get me :D
And now I have to wait for Christmas, and apparently Torchwood isn't airing until early 2008 which means I don't even have that to relequish my DW cravings. I am, instead, resorting to fic. Rose/Doctor, Master/Doctor, Master/Rose...all of it.

on 2007-09-01 10:01 am (UTC)You know what'd be awesome? DW/Teachers crossover. Maybe Kurt and Brian as companions.

on 2007-09-01 09:36 pm (UTC)I'm idly curious now about how many of the Teachers actors have been in DW. Jenny and Kurt, of course (in Fear Her and Aliens of London, respectively) - huh, according to IMDB, Liz was a 'clockwork woman' in Girl in the Fireplace. Clearly they need Andrew Lincoln as a
