(no subject)

We just finished watching the classic Starsky and Hutch episode called The Vampire. And one thing was very very obvious: Starsky/Spike. It has to be done. It *has* to.

(Don't suppose anyone knows what year season 2 of Starsky and Hutch was set in? And/or what year Spike's DeSoto would have been made? For some reason I think it's 1979, but that could be a fanon, or a number I blatantly pulled from my ass.)

S&H ran from '75-'79. I don't know whereabouts in S2 that episode was, but presumably somewhere in '76 or '77.

And DeSoto stopped production in 1960, so Spike's would have been an oldie even then.

Spike's DeSoto was a 1959 Sportsman.

I researched this a while back and I don't remember where I got the info, but Spike's DeSoto is a '59.

Starsky/Spike. It has to be done.

Oh My Gosh, please erase the pain:) My Blondie Bear and My Cocky Cop together? What would Hutch think? And the second season was 1976-1977. The Vampire was set around Oct. 30, 1976.

Totally off topic, but I wasn't sure where else to contact you. My ATS: End of Days will be late. Between four hurricanes in six weeks in Florida and a severe case of the flu, I'm really behind on a lot of things. I'll get it posted just as soon as I can. Thanks.
