Every time my laptop tries to start it flashes a blue screen with white writing in the corner: too fast to read but it says something about /system and something being missing, corrupt or deleted. Then it restarts. Over and over again.

Fuck fuck *fuck*. Watch me panic as I try to remember whether everything for work is backed up (not sure about the new brochure - fuck.)

For once I'm not even so worried about losing all the fic (although obviously that's upsetting me too) but with being about to go away for a week I can't have lost all the work stuff, argh...
