(no subject)

Just added a bunch of new people to my friends list... some of whom I'd thought were on there already. Oops. But anyway - *waves to new people*

what's the 'sb4' stand for in your name?

always wanted to know.

*g* It doesn't actually stand for anything. It was a habit I picked up ages ago on forums (or fora), that if somebody had the name I wanted I'd stick 2 letters and a number on the end ('brought to you by the letters __ and __ and the number __')

My friends have thought up some inspired - and filthy - explanations for sb4, but sadly I can't remember any at the minute.

ah!

that's neat. it's much better than some deep way-too-thought-out reason.

my reasoning behind the '140' in lizz140 (my email addy) is all pretentious but in my defence, i was 18 and very pretentious (you know, more so than now).

*g* I speak for everyone who is me when I say we were all pretentious at that age...

Hi,

I am a long time lurker, occasional skulker, very infrequent commenter, in other people's journals, whichever way it's a bad habbit *g* But I finally set up a livejournal of my own, *does happy dance of livejournal having* and I'm busy friending people at this very moment. Would you mind if I put you on my friends list?

Thanks, will do. I'm still a little unsure of livejournal etiquette, but I'm assuming it's generally best to ask before you friend?

Eep, I don't *g* Most people don't seem to mind, but it's equally okay if you ask. Some people have their friending policy on their userinfo pages.

Thanks again. Right now it's kind of like the first day at school, where you don't know anybody, and you're not quite sure how things work, and you keep getting lost in the corridors and inadvertantly annoying the teachers. Hmm. I'm starting to think you really never recover from school...or maybe that's just me *g*
