I'm looking through Angel transcripts for quotes for the End of Days archive, and a season 1 line I'd forgotten:

Wes: I am your faithful servant, Angel.

...

I'll be in my bunk.

(ETA: of course it doesn't beat my favourite slashy line ever, Doyle's thoughtful comment that maybe he's a little attracted to Angel. Ah, season 1. Good times.)

Doesn't he have a line to Holtz about 'you have no idea how much he means to me' or was that in my slashy mind? Not to mention the row in Smile Time with Angel's 'who are we talking about here?' (The group I saw that with - when Angel asked 'why are you yelling at me', I think *everybody*, slasher or not, spontaneously yelled 'because I'm in love with you!')
