Entertain me while I tackle inability to make words come out right and try to get some of these ficathon entries done... You could tell me what strange pairings you're into, since I've been thinking lots about unconventional shipping today. Or anything. Go on.

Also contemplating a game of tag where the first person writes a drabble - 100 words or less - with a pairing and a word or requirement at the end, and the next person writes that one. Might try to instigate a game of that later tonight if the ficathoning goes badly.

She knows he's only fucking her because he can smell Wesley all over her skin. Knows that the tongue dragging itself over her breasts is searching for any hint of the man she was with last night.

Lilah drags her nails down Angel's back and grins when he snarls.

"He calls out your name when he's fucking me, you know."

Words whispered into the vampire's ear that makes him thrust into her faster. Fingers tighten around her arm, and she knows there will be bruises in the morning. Wes's name is on his lips when he comes, and Lilah laughs.

"God! Wesley, I'm a puppet!" Angel wailed.

"Angel," Wesley said gently. "We will find a way to reverse this."

"What if we don't? What if I'm stuck as pee-little puppetman forever?" Angel smacked his oversized head down on the desk. "Ow."

Wesley came around and placed his hand on Angel's shoulder. "It'll be alright," he whispered. "Fred and I will fix this."

Angel gave out a low muffled moan.

"If it makes you feel any better," Wesley knelt down onto one knee and whispered into Angel's ear. "I find you to be a very frightening puppet."

Angel's head rose, "Yeah?"

Gunn hadn’t realized it until after they killed the Gfasf Demon, too caught up in fighting the thing to see where he had followed it to. Once it’s dead, he looks around the room. Alonna died here. He killed his sister in that very room. Shaken, he drops the battle axe. It clatters to the ground, shaking up dust and old memories.

That night Angel smells traces of alcohol on his lover’s breath. He doesn’t blame Gunn for trying to hide from the pain. Searching for the right words he offers, “You did the right thing.”

“Wish I believed that.”

Why do I keep forgetting the next challenge part?

He's not obvious, and he likes it that way. He gets approving whistles from the shrill queeny types when he visits certain parts of town, but he never looks at them twice. Gunn's a man. He acts like a man. And sometimes, he wants a man.

Problem is, subtlety's wasted on Angel.

Gunn starts getting careless: lets the teeth-marks show, skips the shower.

Angel must be able to smell it.

One morning Angel asks where he’s been, and Gunn looks him in the eye and tells him.

He’s up against the wall so fast he barely has time to blink.
