Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] girlfromsouth:

Give me 1000 comments in this entry. Or whatever, really. YOU, in particular, don't have to supply the whole 1000, but a tiny contribution would be nice. Then let me know if you post this in your journal and I'll return the favor.

Dudes, so this is your chance to spam me with anything! Pictures, lyrics, the word SPAM over and over. Feel free to tell me something about yourself, or screen your comments. Do whatever you want! It's all up to you.

Okay, so I realise 1000 is a tall number so just spam away and we'll see where we get up to. Please entertain me!

Entertain me while I tackle inability to make words come out right and try to get some of these ficathon entries done... You could tell me what strange pairings you're into, since I've been thinking lots about unconventional shipping today. Or anything. Go on.

Also contemplating a game of tag where the first person writes a drabble - 100 words or less - with a pairing and a word or requirement at the end, and the next person writes that one. Might try to instigate a game of that later tonight if the ficathoning goes badly.

ETA: Okay, the drabble tag's here, come and play.

Hee!

I drabbled Anya & Giles (but not Anya/Giles) I just didn't drabble THEN!

Dude, Doyle needs more spam to reach her goal, so I'm going to do it here.

:p

The scents are calling to me. There's the practical side of me that says waiting isn't a bad thing, but the other side says that it's inexpensive and there's FREE SHIPPING and more body wash/body butter is never ever bad.

*spanks you for tempting me*

*dies*

This is so true, Doyle does need more spam.

This is my thought - I ordered ten things (*facepalms*) even if they are all trial sizes. But I picked 5 different fragrances and 10 different actual products. Yeah, it's like 40 bucks in the end BUT! If I really like only half of them, that's not a bad deal and I can buy larger sizes or whatever. Plus since they're all travel sizes, I can take them with me to DC and writer con and wherever and save lots of room in my luggage.

Plus, I have no willpower. Which is really the main thought. Freeshipping though saved me 9 bucks. BUT! I also? Was just about out of any interesting bath washes, I only had like four. Four!

Damn, I can be so girly.

OK.

I scents I have for body wash/lotion right now are --

Lavender
Grapefruit Peppermint
Rosewater
Freesia
Cool Water
Green Tea
Lemongrass & sage

Do you think it's a bit much to order more? I mean, I can skip the green tea since I already have it, but I don't have the others.

You decided against White Tea? Cause that was TOTALLY calling my name before I gave myself a stern shaking.

And lotion wise, what are you looking at ? The richer lotions are slightly more expensive, although I avoided the most expensive, it was still like 5.50 for some. But if you can go lighter, you can probably get your forty bucks with like 6 scents and just end up spending about 50 total.

And also, the O-live body wash is less expensive than the shea-aloe one...that kinda thing. SO depending on what you decide to try in formulations as well as scents, you might not spend that much over the minimum.

Posted by [identity profile] vylit.livejournal.com
No, I haven't decided against White Tea. That was a list of the stuff I have in my cabinet which is why I'm thinking getting more is an expense that even my nifty motto might have a problem finding a way around.

No, if I buy some today I want the Milk Bath and Creamy Shower Wash with the Whipped Good Body Butter in Alias, Blackberry Sage, Brit, Cleanse, Escapade, and White Tea. Which, yeah, will go over, but not by much.

Hee! No, that'd actually make your price about what I paid, just enough over that you don't feel guilty. And, dude, most of those? I so wanted myself. Escapade actually was the only one that wasn't on my list proper, and it wasn't ruled OUT, I just hadn't thought of it. Blackberry sage was lower, too, because I don't usually wear non-citrusy fruits. But I had Alias, Brit and Cleanse HIGH up my list. And obviously ended up buying Alias :)

I love anything citrus-y, and I'm such a whore for sage. Escapade just sounded lovely.

Dude, I told you that I'm going to visit FM and WG this Fall, right? FM has scent issues so I'll have to use something unscented while I visit her. I STILL don't know how I'm going to be able to SMOKE while I'm there.

I mean, I love my FM, so I'm more than happy to do it, but it's going to be tricky. So far, I'm thinking Febreeze in my purse and trying to blow the smoke really far away or something.

Posted by [identity profile] swmbo.livejournal.com

You DID tell me about visiting them and it will be oh-so-fun. Maybe you should stop smoking now and by the time you visit you'll be ok :p

But I know, I am such a perfume junkie but I actually don't wear it that often because I know a lot of people do have scent issues so I try to be sensitive to that.

But, following your thoughts here, it's nearly impossible that you will dislike all of them unless the product just sucks. So, it's actually a good investment, and you're doing a lot of traveling this year so it makes SENSE.

Not to mention the fun of discovering a new product and Alias sounds really lovely.

Doesn't it sound scrumptious? I love fresh/woodsy type scents, mmmm

and the basil one - which sounds weird, I know, except I happen to have a perfume where the primary note is basil and it smells SO GOOD...and I love the citrus bath and body works scent.

And yes, this is a good way to go ahead and try out lots of formulations and find something I'm really HAPPY wiht, instead of spending just as much money on bottles that I dont' use and throw away.

I love woodsy smells and anything clean/floral. I have that fresh smell.

*happy sigh*

I have to leave for work in twenty minutes.

*pout*

Have you decided whether you're going to sign up for lyric wheel? I know someone commented in Dana's LJ about it and said that they were afraid of not being able to complete it, and I really don't think she cares. That's the ONLY reason I'm doing it. After being a week late for my ABoD and a day and a half late for Kita's RPS ficathon, I'm completely paranoid. I'm never late. It's against my religion or something.

God, I'm so late with a bunch of ficathons right now. I'm finished with school and everything, and I just can't write anything more than a drabble. Mope.

I'm having the same problem. I mean, there are things going on that make me a bit busy, but I have plenty of time to write if I really need to. I just -- whenever I sit down I can't seem to write more than 400 words or so. The ONLY reason I'm cool with Lyric Wheel is because they are so flexible with the amount of words -- Dana said 500 is cool, and I'm hoping the lyrics will inspire or something.

*pets you*

The good thing is that I wouldn't mind waiting for a fic from you because everything you write is so good that it's worth the wait.

*steals your brain*

Aww, thank you. I have a bunny for my AU ficathon story but... it's gigantic. We're talking novel. And no way in hell am I going to be able to write it, and this makes me sad.

I know how you feel. I'm going to have to be in fandom until I'm 40 to get all the bunnies in my head written out.

(I'm 24 now)

Heh. I'm 21 so only a little behind you. [livejournal.com profile] connorbeast and I were talking about that the other week, whether it was time for me to move on from the Jossverse.

Him: Have you written everything about these characters you want to?
Me: Oh, *God*, no. I need to write all these gen wacky adventure fics set in the high school years so Larry and Snyder and Amy can get the spotlight, and I've never written Angel/Nina and I really want to and, ooh, Birthdayverse...

So I'm settling in for a long stay *g*

ALthough again I must praise the drabble of dawn/illyria/anya drabble!

Your brain maybe just needs a break? Although seriously, normally a deadline is what gets me up and motivated and like, MUST WRITE NOW instead of slacking and just thinking things in my head.

Dude, SAME here with the never being late and then - boom, I was late for Kita's (thank god for extensions) and then didn't even DO the lyricwheel last time. Which was mostly just cause the lyrics, I couldn't make them inspire me at all, even when I had a nugget, it wouldn't gel with the lyrics.

But I might, because ...when is the actual wheel spinning? and when do we have to have it done by? Cause I need to balance my time.

ANd yes, woodsy, clean, fresh...yum.

Dude, I'm such a freak. I'm sure Kita doesn't really care all that much that I was late, but I feel SO horribly guilty. And Jane? I was a week late with her fic, and I adore Jane. Major guilt issues.

Deadlines are as follows:
Sign Ups End: June 24, 2004
Assignments Sent: June 25, 2004
Posting Begins: July 6, 2004 (the usual 9 days being extended on account of an American Holiday weekend hitting in the interim).

Hee, and for me the holiday would actually, in theory, help since I don't have plans for the day, I probably am gonna spend some time with friends ON the fourth but then the holiday Monday is gonna be the fifth and own't have celebrations and will be just 'laze about' day.

I've never joined in one of the lyric wheels. I'd like to, but so many deadlines, argh...

God, that icon is SO pretty.

Yeah, I'm suposed to go out with GF to a club downtown on the fourth, but other than that I don't have any plans for that weekend and would really like to spend it being LAZY.

Also, I haven't called back Misty or Rob and its been a week. I should probably have another BBQ next weekend since I have Saturday off. I've been all tired and neglectful.
