Give me 1000 comments in this entry. Or whatever, really. YOU, in particular, don't have to supply the whole 1000, but a tiny contribution would be nice. Then let me know if you post this in your journal and I'll return the favor.
Dudes, so this is your chance to spam me with anything! Pictures, lyrics, the word SPAM over and over. Feel free to tell me something about yourself, or screen your comments. Do whatever you want! It's all up to you.
Okay, so I realise 1000 is a tall number so just spam away and we'll see where we get up to. Please entertain me!
Entertain me while I tackle inability to make words come out right and try to get some of these ficathon entries done... You could tell me what strange pairings you're into, since I've been thinking lots about unconventional shipping today. Or anything. Go on.
Also contemplating a game of tag where the first person writes a drabble - 100 words or less - with a pairing and a word or requirement at the end, and the next person writes that one. Might try to instigate a game of that later tonight if the ficathoning goes badly.
ETA: Okay, the drabble tag's here, come and play.

Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-19 04:45 pm (UTC)How did they get here?
Vaguely Spike remembers rain. Fight. Crackling sounds of an opening portal. Mighty kick of the blue girl.
"Still alive, Charlie?"
"Still undead?"
"Check"
"Check. I have yet some vamps to dust."
"Then you're gonna live long."
"And prosper"
Chuckle. "It was a good battle."
No answer. Medics are running. Gunn's lips move. "It was a good battle."
Next up: Willow/Faith after Orpheus
Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-19 05:40 pm (UTC)Amusement takes her when they entrust her to get Faith to Sunnydale. On the road, in the tiny rented car, Willow finally cracks. Laughs so hard that Faith tells her to stop. Instead Willow stops the car, leans back and smirks before facing the brunette.
“Bite me,” she whispers, like she should’ve done four years ago.
Faith looks at her, shrugs and does.
Next: Angelus, wherever you want him, however you want him.
Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-19 05:57 pm (UTC)Faith's head was lolling back against the seat. "I thought you liked your girls to lie still."
"Heat of battle," he said, drawing his fingertip down the side of her neck,
along the line of her collar and shirt front.
She shivered, her nipples hardening.
Angelus smiled.</i>"That's</i> my girl."
Wes/Illyria!
Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-19 06:43 pm (UTC)“You should have let me reach my natural end,” she says. “Your unworthy lives would have been a just price for my glorious destruction.”
His relationship with Lilah, he remembers with bleak humour, began with this level of self-loathing.
Hours later, when he’s awake in bed, she comes to him and he doesn’t, can’t, push her away.
Next: Knox

on 2004-06-19 07:45 pm (UTC)Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-19 08:04 pm (UTC)He had chosen Fred carefully, and her unflinching bravery, her amazing brain, her heart that she had never really given to him- no, that was reserved for the other. The one who's bullet had ended him.
That last detail notwithstanding, it was for those reasons that he believed she really had been perfect. The most worthy vessel he could have found for Illyria.
He wonders as he slipped under the darkness if she will care, even the smallest bit, that her Qwa'ha Xahn has been taken from her so soon. Or will she, like the girl she wears as a shell, favor his murderer?
There is no thought left to contemplate the answer.
(Wes/Gunn, plz?)
Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-19 08:49 pm (UTC)Yeah, they drink together every weekend, and Gunn’s usually at English’s place playing Playstation when he ain’t sleeping. But, when you’re covered in demon goo, got enough cuts and bruises to look like an extra in a Jet Li movie, and you’ve been chasing a demon through the sewers for six hours, there’s not many other people that want to hang out with your stinky ass.
It doesn’t mean anything when Gunn wonders what Wes’ mouth would feel like or misses him like Hell when he’s off with Virginia.
It doesn’t mean anything at all.
~~Tara/Buffy~~
Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-20 03:17 am (UTC)In the early morning room they lie long, and silent as shadows; listening to the distant chirruping, clattering, sounds of the world waking up.
Buffy doesn't want to wake. She screws her eyes shut -- body shut -- tighter, tighter, tightest.
"Ow," Tara says softly. "Human -- still need to b-breathe, remember." And Buffy sighs and relaxes her grip.
Tara's skin suddenly feels so like satin stretched over hard, curving wood; the bed so small and claustrophobic around them. But Buffy wills herself to stillness. This time she will not fight, clawing her way back into life, no this time she will not fight.
She will fade quietly to nothing, like the bruises Spike left on her wrists.
"Please," she whispers, as Tara kisses the palm of her hand, "Please don't forgive me."
Next drabble. Lilah and Kennedy meet up in Hell.
M Phoenix
Lilah and Kennedy meet up in Hell..
on 2004-06-20 11:13 am (UTC)“Sucks, doesn’t it?” Lilah’s charred face spit out the words, “There is no heaven, no happy afterlife. It’s the cosmic joke of the universe.”
Oh, I forgot my drabble challenge thingy..

on 2004-06-19 06:03 pm (UTC)“Actually, I am. You see, I’ve brought my lover along for the ride.” Xander indicates the doorway and Angelus hears the squeak of a wheelchair making its way down the long hallway.
“He loves me, you know,” Xander whispered before yanking the older vampire’s head back.
“Spike, baby! I’ve got him! Come on in and feed, you’ll feel much better.”
Angelus watches in horror as his childe forces his legs underneath him before falling on his sire. Then he is gone. Drained. Dust.
Next? Ethan/Giles
Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-19 06:19 pm (UTC)He was the child who played with matches. He was the adolescent who hotwired cars and took them for joy rides. He was the teenager who shoplifted for fun rather than profit. He was the young man who searched out books about black magic and raised demons for no good reason than just for the hell of it. He loves the invention of “extreme sports,” and wishes that he were still young enough to participate. He never practices safe sex.
In all his fifty years of foolhardiness, Ripper is the only dangerous thing that he loves.

on 2004-06-20 11:15 am (UTC)There were whispers about that group, what they could do, would do.
Her friends called her insane, but they didn't dare follow her to stop her when she went up to him. He was all leather and knives and fury as tangible as heat.
But it wasn't until his angry youth was eroded away by twenty years that she realized: Rupert Giles was dangerous.

on 2004-06-19 06:28 pm (UTC)Ethan had gone too far this time and as he falls it’s Giles who has the flashbacks.
Parties. Girls. Them staring into each other as they fucked that night’s pick. He flashbacks to sweat and magic and long thin fingers branding him. Giles hadn’t minded then, if he tries their ghost is still at his waist, wandering over his hips and thighs.
But this is the end, not the beginning. Flashbacks end and Ethan lies at his feet.
One last kiss, Giles thinks, and he finally brands that man as his.

Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-19 07:35 pm (UTC)They have been dating (or whatever this...thing they've been doing is) for three weeks, and he feels like he is never going to stop being surprised at not getting whacked with a large book.
I don't know why I did that...I'm never satisfied with drabbles. Anyway, next: Devon/Connor.
Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-19 08:04 pm (UTC)He finds him in some nameless diner; the waitress threatening to call the manager if he didn’t pay. Now.
He steps in and pays the tab silently, doesn’t even wonder why.
“Devon.”
The offered hand is ignored and no name is given. He’s supposed to good boy, but he knows he’s different. Might as well find out if his latest theory is true.
He pays the next round of beer. Devon talks about his life and ends with a ‘your apartment of mine?’ The first lesson at college was that all options must be thoroughly explored before given up.
“Mine.”
