Entertain me while I tackle inability to make words come out right and try to get some of these ficathon entries done... You could tell me what strange pairings you're into, since I've been thinking lots about unconventional shipping today. Or anything. Go on.

Also contemplating a game of tag where the first person writes a drabble - 100 words or less - with a pairing and a word or requirement at the end, and the next person writes that one. Might try to instigate a game of that later tonight if the ficathoning goes badly.

Ethan brought the bottle to his lips reverently. He put it in his mouth for the briefest of moments before removing it with a smile. He stuck out his tongue and licked a drip off the lip of the bottle before engulfing it in his mouth once again. He sucked on the bottle until it hit the back of his throat and then slowly withdrew it. A large hand snatched his bottle from him before he could repeat the action.

“You win. I don’t need a bird. Blokes do give better blowjobs. Can we leave now?”

“Whatever you say, Ripper.”

There were no more monsters to keep her up at night. No more apocalypses to divert. The new slayers could keep the darkness at bay now, they had the power. They had her power. Once there was just the Chosen One. Then the Chosen Two. Now the chosen.. How many had they found? One hundred and fifty two at last count. Giles had set up a school to train them, teach them how to do what was once Buffy’s job.

In the bar, she sat alone, drinking her tenth beer, hoping the drink will dull the pain of being ordinary.
