Thanks to everybody who wished me a speedy recovery. I'm feeling a bit better, so go you all* and your virtual chicken soup.

Spander Inquisition fic is 2300 words long, about 3/4 done and currently has no slash. Not even subtext. What it does have is Spike and Xander bitching at each other in a seedy bar in Cairo while Illyria quotes T.S. Eliot at them, but that may be the cold medicine coming through.

* To use proper Northern Irish, "go youse"

I tried to use it as my senior quote but alas, it may have been too long :( So I submitted another pretty quote, which I think is just as lovely:

"And now I see with eye serene,
The very pulse of the machine." - She Was A Phantom of Delight by William Wordsworth.

I've always wanted to write a fic with one of those two quotes but have never quite found the right idea. Maybe you'll do better ;)
