I should be working
Mar. 25th, 2003 10:01 amI have astronomy homework that needs to be finished. Sadly, I have no idea how the mistaken classification of binary systems as single stars affects the main sequence of the H-R diagram, and my usual method of plugging the question into google and hoping for the best isn't working.
I'm studiously ignoring the wildfeed for this week's Buffy - some might say it's rather pointless, since I read the shooting script a month ago, but they might have changed something huge, for all I know, and I'm doing really well in being spoilerlite for Angel so I'll feel proud anyway. Okay? Okay.
I've found my replacement Buffy for when the series ends. The Spider-Man comics have been luring me in for a couple of months, and yesterday I picked up the first Ultimate Spider-Man graphic novel. I'm officially obsessed. I'm trying to resist heading downtown to buy the rest of the series, because having bought Angel DVDs and a kickass full-length leather coat this fortnight, I'm very poor indeed. And there's Buffy season 6 DVDs to come in 3 weeks. Oh, and having downloaded some Ghost of the Robot mp3s, I'm horrified to find I actually really like their music, meaning I have no excuse not to go and see them in London this June. Somebody save me a cardboard box to sleep in, please.
Speaking of Angel, I watched the episode The Price for the first time last night. My heart broke for my poor Wesley (who loves Angel so much. I mean, it's barely even subtext. Why couldn't that have been the love triangle instead of the Wes/Fred/Gunn thing?) Oh, and Loyalty is the most Hoyaylicious piece of television I've ever seen. And I watch Smallville. Baby Connor so had two daddies. (
connorbeast suggested a Connor icon with the caption "I have two daddies. And they're both really hot." Might make that some time, when I kick the ass of this damn astronomy homework).
I'll shut up before this descends into a post on why Angel and Wesley would make the hottest couple on earth, but if anybody has a hundred bucks lying round, I wouldn't mind an A/W TWOP banner ad devoted to their love. Which is canon. In my world.
