Currently supposed to be working on my solid state physics assignment. I'd like to say this would be easier if I went to the classes, but I know it would make no difference. The lecturer's notes are so incomprehensible that I'm better off working from my textbook and webelements.com (trying first the tried-and-true student tip of typing keywords from the question into google just in case it's somewhere online).
Got a pretty moonstone pendant from my aunt and uncle. My mum's been teary all day about me turning 21 on Monday.
Dad: Ah, I remember you being born.
Me: No you don't, you sodded off out of the hospital to feed the ducks in the park.
Dad: The nurse came down to get me once your mother had had you. "Woman, these ducks won't feed themselves," I said. And then I ran very fast in the opposite direction.
Throughout this my mother was giving him those "she gets it from you" glares.
