Posting again, now we have the go-ahead. Check out the stories at the archive

Title: The River As Seen From Above
Author: Doyle_sb4
Rating: PG-13
Feedback: <mailto:doyle@ntlworld.com>doyle@ntlworld.com
Archive: Ask first, I can't imagine I'll say no.
Summary: Back to 1995, and Doyle's last day with Harry before discovering he was half-demon.
Notes: for greensilver, who wanted Doyle, an attempt to make dandelion wine, and no fluff. I'm borderline with that last requirement. Thanks to Kevin for the last-second beta.

Okay, I've only read these two so far, but they rock damn hard.

Black Sheep Run by [livejournal.com profile] minim_calibre - Connor/Fred. This one was written for me, and it's gorgeous. I love this slightly creepy Connor who knows exactly what he's doing, and Fred's great too.

These Reasonable Taboos by [livejournal.com profile] glossing - Connor/Wes, for [livejournal.com profile] ros_fod. If I wasn't already gloss's bitch for Book of Daniel, this would have swung it. Set between season 3 and 4, it has an absolutely perfect Connor voice and a believable Connor/Wesley relationship.

:pets her Connor. Pets the nice writers.:

ETA: I know everyone's seen the Nick Brendon pictures. Now, these are fairly horrific, but doubly so if, like me, you're familiar with a Northern Ireland sitcom called Give My Head Peace. Nick is Uncle Andy. He has the hair, the glasses, the terrifying 70s facial hair... I may have to track down a screencap to compare the two.

Icons!

So who wants to make me a "Connor/Wesley fan: no apologies" icon? Or a Riley, Kennedy or Connor one?

I mean, not that I've ever felt I needed to apologise for any of those, but I'm thinking hey, icons :)
