I have had a brilliant thought. Since most of my Friends list loves either Brian/Justin or Spike/Dawn, eventually the two interests will collide in the manner of a collapsing binary star system or similar, and everyone will want to write hot older-guy/teenage-boy smut set in the Buffyverse. And on that day I'll have all the Connor/Wesley I could want!

In that spirit, my top ten homoerotic moments of Angel, in no particular order (and there are many I'm leaving out, these are the ones that instantly leapt to my mind):

Odd how many of these involve Xander...

The "biteable/nummy treat" conversation between Spike and Xander in Hush. About the closest to canon Spander as was ever put onscreen.

School Hard: I crack up at Xander's slightly suspicious "you're his *sire*? What's a sire?"

Angel kissing Spike on the forehead in Innocence. Not quite as good as Krycek kissing Mulder in The Red and the Black (because that made me fall out of my chair in shock), but close.

The faux-Mayor's statement that all Faith ever wanted was for Buffy to love her.

Xander's slightly dreamy tangent about the attractiveness of Spike's compact yet muscular body in Intervention, capped by the "I'm not sleeping with Spike! Starting to think you might be!" Love me my Jane E.

Beneath You: Xander and Spike glancing uneasily at one another on the "is there anyone who hasn't slept together?" question.

Just about every Xandrew interaction in Storyteller. Especially Xander's head-duck-and-flirty-smile combo when Andrew calls him the heart of the Scoobies.

Xander (again) commenting on Wesley's "Pierce-Brosnany eyes". So we don't need to ask who his favourite Bond was, then.

Xander (yet again) getting so teary at Riley's exit in Into the Woods that I expected him to run after the damn helicopter himself. (Come back, Riley! Me and zyre and connorbeast and Xander love you!)
