A non-spoilery note about Smile Time: Fred talks to someone in the lab over the phone. I think she called them "Tracey". That made me shriek out loud, because in my season 5 Connor-and-Spike AU? I always idly planned that Holden was Connor's therapist, and that somehow Tracey from Firefly (played by Jonathan Woodward, of course) fell through a portal and wound up working with Fred, because I'm juvenile enough to be hugely amused by the thought of poor Angel being perplexed by three identical staff members (who as far as he's concerned may be one person who changes his clothes a lot)

(Or the other option is that Connor's girlfriend from Home is an intern. Hmm, I like that one too.)
