A slightly odd and totally trivial Angel question...

I have a really bad visual memory. I just can't remember people's faces unless I've seen them a lot of times, and as for remembering anyone's clothes or such? Heh. Not a chance.

Anyway, am I right in thinking that Wes hasn't worn glasses since somewhere around the time of Sleep Tight? Because I keep reading fic set in season 4 or 5 where he's wearing glasses and it's making me very confused. Has he been wearing them on and off and I've just not noticed?

I vaguely remember him wearing glasses in "Lineage", but I could be wrong. Lilah made comment during their affair that Wesley started wearing contacts, I think.

Wow, this questions is going to drive me nuts. I am pretty certain that I have seen him in glasses since then, but I have no clue where. Maybe you should ask in btvsangel_canon, since I am sure that someone would know the actual episodes off the top of their head.

The last time we saw the glasses is in Angel's dream in Deep Down. According to AD, Wes got LASIK surgery. :)

Basically just ditto-ing what this person said. In fact you've got to give props to the continuity department for putting the glasses on in Angel's dream, as obviously Angel would have had no idea that Wes stopped wearing them once he got out of the hospital.

There's never been a canonical explanation for why he stopped. As this person said AD claimed at a con that Wes got LASIK, but OTOH Wes didn't wear his glasses during the battle in Pylea which could also suggest that maybe he was never that blind to begin with.

So if you're asking for fic writing purposes the reason why he stopped is still open, but anything set after Wes gets out of hospital in s3 should have him not wearing his glasses. He hasn't worn them since.

Hey! When it comes to AtS, and especially to Wesley, there is no such thing as a trivial question! ;)

I can't recall Wes with glasses post Season 3. The last mention of them, I think, was when Angelus was taunting Wes about his whole image change. Other than that, I'm clueless :)
