[livejournal.com profile] marymac is shopping for clothes so she's left me in daycare at the cybercafe. Because clothes shopping is my third least favourite thing (after dental work and shopping for shoes).

I think I'm ready for my penis now.

My [livejournal.com profile] btvscupid person, [livejournal.com profile] a_nunny_mouse is so good to me. I get prezzies every day. In contrast, my person will get a mood theme. I actually wanted to write them Five Things That Never Happened to [character], but didn't have time. May do that at some other point.

Ooh, and I preordered the Angel Season 4 DVDs, which are out in region 2 next month. The special features are:

Commentary on 'The House Always Wins' by David Fury and Andy Hallett
Commentary on 'Spin The Bottle' by joss Whedon and Alexis Denisof
Commentary on 'Apocalypse, Nowish' by Vern Gillum and Steven DeKnight
Commentary on 'Orpheus' by Terrence O'Hara and Jeffrey Bell
Commentary on 'Inside Out' by Steven Deknight
Commentary on 'The Magic Bullet' by Jeffrey Bell
Commentary on 'Home' by Time Minear
Angel and the Apocalypse featurette
Prophecies: Season 4 overview feature
Unplugged: Season 4 outtakes
Last looks: The Hyperion Hotel featurette ;Fatal beauty and The Beast featurette
Malice In Wonderland: Wolfram and Hart featurette

No word yet on the Buffy season 7 features. (I liked season 7. Definitely not my favourite, as that's probably season 4, but still good.)

Aww. :pets you:

Aren't most DVD players multiregion/hackable? I know most players here can play region 1, unless they have that stupid coding that's stopping me getting my mits on my beloved Starsky and Hutch DVDs. Of course, ordering different region DVDs can have crippling customs charges, as I found with Firefly...

My DVD player is unhackable, and I can't buy a new one for a while since I'm putting money into the London trip. Though I'm tempted to buy the Angel DVDs while I'm over there just in case ;)

I was gonna try to wait until AtS S4 comes out this fall in the US (even though I have a region free DVD player), but if I see one in a store when I'm in London next month, I'm gonna have to buy it on the spot!

I loved season seven. My heart's ultimately with season five, but season seven was far better than people say it is. I'm not a four gal, though. I liked some parts of it, but the entire arc didn't fulfill me. Sigh.

I hope the season seven features are good. It's the last season. It deserves some special features. Then again, it deserved a promo shoot. No, I'm not bitter. ;)

SEVEN commentaries!

*dies of joy*

Waiting until fall would kill me if I hadn't already died of joy a minute ago.

*pouts*

Oh, if I had the money I would so have ordered those too by now! Certainly looks like fun, and being the incredibly shallow person that I am (and proud of it), naturally the thought of an AD commentary had me pinging off the walls for a good few minutes :)

Hope you enjoy them!

p.s. What does 'GIP' stand for?

Ooh, you have a journal!

And GIP stands for Gratuitous Icon Post. An excuse to show off the pretty or the funny.

Thanks for letting us know they're coming out next month -- I'd been looking for a release date for R2 and couldn't find anything, then sort of gave up. I'm anxious to work on a vid and we're fortunate in Seattle to have a video store that actually rents R2 discs of many things, so I don't have to pony up the big bucks I don't have! And now that I have a multiregion player, this is exciting news.
