Things I want:

- my exam results, because I don't have fingernails left
- to see Angel 5.09-5.12. Which I will on Sunday, if my parents can leave me into Belfast early (it's one of the regular Angel and Smallville days, which are always fun)

I've been randomly watching old Buffy and Angel episodes as research for various ficathons. Dude, I am so in love with Devon. Devon Devon Devon. "She doesn't have to talk". Hee. Also, quite perturbed that my season 2 OTPs are Buffy/Xander and Angel/Willow. Not that I don't like B/A and Xander/Cordy - especially since I'm mad with the Cordy love this week - and Willow/Oz is one of maybe three conventional pairings that I love and adore. It's just... the When She Was Bad sexy dance, and the Lie to Me A/W cuteness. "I'm not allowed boys in my room." Aww. Though the scene would have been better if Angel wasn't wearing a ton of makeup, because the pink lipstick really doesn't suit him. I wish I had the region 2 DVDs so I could screencap that scene. I kept freezing to admire the lipstick.

connorbeast and I may have to rent I Capture the Castle. It looks Rileyriffic.

Oh, and I love my Remix assignment. Someone who's a great writer and who I like a lot, and who has a story with a fascinating premise that I can play with.

Willow's makeup is really heavy in that scene too which makes it extra nutty! Maybe they were swapping cosmetics and sharing beauty tips? Very strange to see Willow in her nightgown with all this heavy lipstick and whatnot. They were kind of going nuts with her makeup there for a little bit. I can't imagine her wearing that much makeup to *bed*, let alone during the day!

But it's definitely a cute scene!

Yep, I watched with marymac, who said exactly the same thing. And someone else we watched with got very confused over the timeline, because "has Angel lost his soul already? I thought he only wore eyeliner when he was evil"

My other puzzling fashion moment was in season 5, maybe Triangle, when we see Tara at the Magic Box table looking gorgeous with her hair pulled back and wearing some kind of black trouser suit. Then minutes later she's in a big frumpy skirt and jumper. It's like the person who dresses her arrived back from her lunch break. "Benson! Who dressed you like that? Into the giant skirt, now!"

I Capture the Castle is a very good film, even for someone who doesn't appreciate the Riley-rifficness. I mean, it has Bill Nighy!

I like the A/W cuteness too - I love how Angel treats her so...gently.

Devon - my favourite scene of him is when he tries to climb up the rope to escape from the Bronze in Doppelgangland, a la Angel, and fails completely. *g* Also, this exchange from the same ep (which was cut):

Devon (to Angel): Hey man, you wanna be our roadie?
Angel: Less than you'd think.
