The Fantabulous Connorverse

doyleOur house was full of my mad relatives today. Not that I don't get on with them, but when you're liberal and pagan in a houseful of extreme smixeb* protestants it can get... claustrophobic. I escaped inside my head to the comforting world of the Connorverse that Laurence and I spent till 2am this morning constructing. I managed to literally escape to my room for an hour to chat Cverse. Which was nice.
The crux of the Connorverse is that Wes takes Connor in after Angel evicts him from the hotel in Deep Down. Much angst and slash ensues. He's got me so intrigued by this alternate universe I may get suckered into writing it. Damn him. It also means I've been trawling for Connor/Wes today, severely cutting into my Spuffy-and-Andrew time. Is it very wrong that I see nothing wrong with C/W and think it would be a fascinating direction for the show to go, yet ConCord squicks the bejeesus out of me?
*Smixeb, you ask? Glenn objected to my use of the terms "fascist" and "right wing" so my relatives shall now be referred to with his suggestion of "smixeb". It means "small minded xenophobic bigots", and is both accurate and catchy.
