To my mother:

No, for the millionth and (I wish) last time, my weight does not bother me. It bothers you. These two things are vastly different.

Grr.

ETA: And anyway, I'm Festively Plump.

Oh, can I ever relate. From my sister: "You're a pretty girl, under all that."

*crush* *kill* *maim* *destroy*

PS - Your icon is funny. :)

I love your Connor icon, doyle.

On the mother note, well, it's their job to be like this sometimes. They don't seem to understand that among other things, they're ruining our self esteem because it hurts the most when it's your own mother.

Hang in there.

Ack. Mothers. Never you you mind.

(Especially the tiny, slim, dark ones whom you clearly didn't get your fair/blond/strong genes from)

Mothers...I know. Mine's always on at me and my sister for being too thin. I hope you aren't going anorexic... No, Mother, I eat like a horse.

Maybe we could average ourselves out and get two mother-safe figures *hee*

Mothers can be a bitch, can't they? I'm a "big" girl, too, and my mom always told me growing up that I needed to lose weight or I'd never get married or have babies or anything. No man likes a fat woman is what she told me.

Well, look at me now, Ma! Married with child and still plump. And my hubby likes me this way. Shows my skinny mom what-for!
