Looking at spam email last night I had a blinding flash of realization - oh, Paris Hilton is a person! I always assumed the infamous video was of something going on in a hotel in France and... yes. Well. Go about your business.
I've heard of her exactly twice - once on MTV a few weeks ago and a mention in Empire magazine which I saw yesterday (prompting my video epiphany). Seriously, could not pick her from a lineup.
I made the same *exact* mistake until I happened to see her on the cover of People magazine while I was waiting in the checkout line at the grocery story.
Was a bit late to catch the clue train as well, but then, we in Europe may be closer to fancy lodging in our capital cities but further removed from the *essential* US showbiz gossip...
Lol. Yeah she's on TV like every 5 minutes here, and I think she takes up at least a page of every issue of Entertainment Weekly. She has a funny-looking nose.
Oh so *that's* what all those wretched emails were about! I'd assumed the same thing, that is was some fly-on-the-wall type video of... Stuff I really don't care about. Oh well.
I've just read 'Brittle' and wanted to say I love it! Lovely writing and you manage to fit so much into such a short piece. I'm awed. So many small details that describe far more than you'd expect. The fact that Wes was so pale, the way Connor was 'jerked' awake by the sudden breaking. Wonderful. And then there was the cold caution of the refound Connor. The way he unsurprisingly finds it still hard to trust anyone completely. This is the kind of Connor I'd love to see reappear on AtS!

No, did you really?
Then again, you are lucky enough to not see her image plastered across every magazing every which way you turn.
