Got my Gilesficathon and Anyaficathon assignments - ee! Love love love the pairing in the Giles one (that's the assignment I was dreading, because I seriously doubt my ability to pair Giiles with certain other characters) and the Anya one is the one I was keeping my fingers crossed for. Seriously. I saw the request in comments and had about half the dialogue in my head before realising it was mighty unlikely I'd get to write it.

Since the Yuletide Treasure authors have been revealed, here are mine:

Seven Habits of Highly Effective Sex Poodles - Xander/Anya. This was so, so much fun to write.

Merry Hogswatch to All (And to All a Good Night) - Discworld, Cheery/Angua

Aww, and [livejournal.com profile] keswindhover wrote for me! :glomps Kes: Read Christmas Eve and Twelve of the Clock

And the Secret Slasha entries:

All Over But the Shouting - Spike/Wesley darkfic, written as a backup.

Drown - Wes/Gunn. Apologies to [livejournal.com profile] minim_calibre for having to be my guinea pig, since this was my attempt to get over my fear of writing established relationships.

I have 300 words of unfinished Gunn/Oz on my hard drive and no clue how to continue it....

Colleen (don't know if she's on LJ) wrote the lovely Ten Minutes Every Morning for me.

Now I'm finishing up my first ficlet for the 12 Days challenge. And looking through the Yuletide New year Challenge, because there are a few of these I really want to write...

I gave you f/b on the X/A which was so funny and sweet, but the Spike/Wes was just perfect too. The ending was so bleak and despairing and sometimes that's good, even though I'm a sucker for a happy ending. Loved how Spike didn't have anything to call Wes, loved how they needed each other as they spiralled down.

Thank you! Weird how one is so very fluffy and one
is dark yet both were great fun to write...

"All Over But The Shouting" is completely brilliant. I love it. It's quite possibly my favorite story to come out of SS this year -- and in the top 5 in any case.

*Loves all over you*

Can I just say how much I loved the seven habbits of highly effective sex poodles. From the title to Xander barricading himself in the shower. Had me in absolute stiches.

Thank you so so so much for A Merry Hogwatch...! I loved it -- it was everything I could have asked for and more.

Thank you!

So glad you liked it! And thanks for requesting it - not a pairing I ever would have thought of, but it got me rereading the guards books from Feet of Clay onwards, and dear god... One True Pairing! Cheery/Angua 4eva! *g*

:glomps Kes:

*Kes reels, dizzily.*

Thanks for the glomping - and congratulations on all this amazingly top notch fic you're churning out. See you at the Anya flashficathon.

It was darling, dearest.

Aww, you were the one who wrote Drown! That was lovely, very sweet and funny. And yay for getting over the fear of writing established relationships - I sure wish I could, heh.

Thanks! I'm really glad you liked it, I wibbled over writing it like nothing else. Established relationships are scary, scary things.

[identity profile] raskazzptitsa.livejournal.com 2004-01-01 02:31 pm (UTC)(link)
They really are. Every time I try to do an unconventional-but-established story, I end up throwing in 1000 extra words of explanation. Damned canon fetishism ;)
