Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would?
Yes! Thought I'd write two or three fics. I think I did over thirty. I mean, they're short, but it's far more than I thought I'd write.

What pairing/genre/fandoms did you write that you would never have predicted in january 2003?
Joyce/Anya (in fact, any femslash). Connor/Oz. In fact, all of it, since a year ago I'd have put money on me writing Spuffy if I ever attempted fanfic (and I've never written Spuffy. Huh.) Also wrote in a fandom I wouldn't have attempted if not for the Yuletide challenge, but I can't reveal that yet.

What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest.
The Whole of the Moon, tied with one of my 2 Secret Slasha entries.

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
I played about a bit with styles and viewpoints, which was fun. I (hope I) learned not to overdo the stylistic stuff, but that at times it can enhance the story. I also learned that I like second person and present tense far too much.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year?
Something longer than 5000 words. With plot. Plot is good. And for shorter/ship fic, there's a ton of stuff I haven't dabbled in yet. (I don't have anything remotely approaching a muse. What I do have is offline friends to foist my addiction onto, which amounts to connorbeast arguing the case for season 1 Willow/Giles spanking fic, thecount_ha asking why I haven't written Angel/Connor and Kevin pushing the one true love of Spike/Andrew)


And I think I'm getting circe_tigana's flu...
