(no subject)

Just noticed the TWOP banner pointing to the First's journal. That makes me smiley :)

ETA: Yikes. According to some lists I'm on there's text on the lines of "Get the hell over it" on the ad aimed at the Kittens. I just see a green box that links to my journal, but then my connection's crappy.

I'm going to be hunted down and killed, aren't I? I knew not a thing about any ad before I saw cousinjean's link, I certainly didn't pay for it to be there. Hey, not complaining about free advertising, 'cause... cool! But I hate looking mean. I just have a complex.

Oh, a fun new obsession - last night [livejournal.com profile] connorbeast and I were listening to music and he made a crack about Sweet Child of Mine being the perfect song for Spike and Angel. With an "e" on the end of child, obviously. I now desperately want to see this as a music video. If by a freakish coincidence it's out there, can someone please point me to it? A king's ransom shall be yours! (no, not really)

Just wanted to wave and say "hi." Warning - I am friending you. Be afraid. Be very afraid. (No, not really. *grin*)

Cool. Thanks for friending me. Love the icon. Mmm...

Yeah, it is a little harsh and it's creating quite a stir on the boards at TWoP (http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/ijsbb/forum.cgi?a=list&f=529&d=20&t=2073570&n=314,19#n) and on fandom_wank (http://www.blurty.com/talkread.bml?journal=fandom_wank&itemid=41620).

Not going to read either of them, since I now have paranoia about people hating me... (not the specific "me", just the generic LJ-writing-me, not that that makes any sense...)

I'm going back to bed.

The W/T ad has been replaced by another banner ad ... and is already quickly fading from memory ...

When I first saw the ad, I assumed that whoever was behind it was just trying to be clever by pointing back to the FE's journal. I seriously doubt that people believe that you personally put up the banner.
And the entry you just made in the First's LJ about this should settle any remaining doubts. So don't worry, OK?

Sure it's kinda mean, but heck if I wasn't laughing for 15 minutes straight when I saw the funny ad at TWOP. And hey, I'm a Tara fan too, and I wasn't in the least bit offended. But then again, someone could poop on my head, and I'd probably be too preoccupied to care either way.

I was curious though if you actually paid for the ad yourself, and if not, who the merry prankster could be.

'm going to be hunted down and killed, aren't I?

I wish I had a hundred bucks to spend! I have no clue who paid for the ad, but I'm pretty sure it was planned to go up yesterday anyway, and the link to the journal was added as an afterthought. As my friend said as we tried to figure it out yesterday "let's think about it logically - who wants you dead?"

Well I thought it was funny as hell. ::evil grin::

It was sparked by a banner ad put up by some rather delusional W/T shippers to inform everyone they were boycotting the show until "the soulmates are back together".

When I saw it, all I could think was: "They want ME to put a bullet in Willow's head?" If I had a spare $100, I might have to sponsor the "Willow & Tara belong together: Kill Willow Off" banner ad. Cause I'm a snarky bitch, sometimes. ;)

Rotfl. I thought the "united for Xandrew!" one yesterday was a spoof too, but apparently it's the real deal.

The Connorbeast and I decided yesterday that if we suddenly come into $100 we're picking two names from a hat and making an ad claiming we're boycotting the show until, say, Willow and Clem get together...
