doyleMy sojourn in the land of the unspoiled starts in two weeks (just yikes) so I'll throw out roughly the same challenge here as I put to Band of Buggered.
Help Doyle stay off the internet
Since I'm bound to get spoiled online (since naturally people are going to talk about the episode after it airs in the UK), I'm seeking offline recreation. I already have literally thousands of pieces of fanfic saved, but I'm looking for soemthing that won't tempt me to the computer. I'm thinking real books.
So what should I read? What books or authors have just grabbed you? What would you recommend to a 20-year-old Spuffy-shipping slash fan who'll read pretty much any genre? (Comics/graphic novels are a go too).
