500th Post!

...and a hush descended over the internet as doyle_sb4 made her 500th post.

Well, not really. But my love of nice, round numbers makes me very happy that I'm 'friend of' 200 people right now.

And now I shall blatantly nick a rather brilliant idea from janedavitt. Since I can't afford to send Christmas cards to everyone on my friends list, anyone who wants to can respond to this with a character/pairing (and request, if you want) and I'll try to write them a tiny little ficlet in December. Ficathons and uni permitting, natch.

I've recently been feeling this bizarre need to read Kennedy/Lorne friendship, and I can't think of anyone who could pull it off better than you. If you have the time and inclination, a little snippet of that would please me very, very much. The young man on the far side of crowded bar seemed incredibly familiar and Wesley stared at him in fascination. He wasn't sure how long he looked, he was far too drunk for any subtlety, but it was long enough for the boy to notice and send him a small quirk of a smile in response.

Wesley had gone to the bar to forget, not find a partner for the evening. Perhaps that might change, he thought, as the object of his gaze approached and extended his hand.
