Looks like they're really pushing the Wes/Fred thing :sighs: Although props to Fred for not letting Wes patronise her. I want to love Fred. Fred is me. I'll be happy if they write her with some backbone.

I'm looking on the bright side, in that the spelling of Wes's dad's name throughout the script page finally gives me concrete assurance that it is, in fact, Wyndam-Pryce (I know, I know, people far more learned than I have been pointing out that this is correct all along, but I kept having doubts of 'but it looks better with an h...')



ETA: wow, guess the crackdown is doing its job. Right now there are 23 users on Kazaa, sharing 4344 files. The file number is usually around 700 million.

ETA2: and now I've logged back in and it's 700 million again. That was odd. But, ha, take that RIAA!

I initially had problems with Wes' surname because the larger of our two local parks is called Wyndham Park, so it's pretty much ingrained into me.

Are you using the original Kazaa or Kazaa Lite? I'm on Kazaa Lite right now, and there are 4,055,050 users sharing 752,680,156 files. I'm not sure if that's more or less than normal, since I never really noticed before.

I logged out and in again, and the numbers are back to their normal level. I'm relieved it was only a glitch of some kind, because I'd hate to lose my lovely illegal music.

Oh, good, back to normal.

The first day the RIAA lawsuits came out, I panicked and disabled sharing on my files... because, dude, I'm fucking poor & if they sue 12 year old girls, they'll sue me too. But then someone pointed out that if I just keep less than 1,000 songs in my "Shared" folder, and the rest in a seperate folder on my hard drive, they'll probably leave me alone. WHEE!!!

Hmm. So they're coming back to Wes/Fred? Interesting. Too bad they couldn't get Lilah back for another season, and I was really hoping for Fred/Knox. Still, I can deal.
