J. August Richards wants to play Bond. I've been wanting to see him as double-oh-seven since Players. Not that I think an American will get to play Bond for a long time, but it's a nice idea.

A long time? Try never. Bond has to be played by a citizen of the Commonwealth. It's like the unwritten rule or something. Then again, it's possible that it's a *written* rule. I wouldn't put it past them...

I agree with jslayeruk that there will never be an American Bond. But Gunn Richards can play Bond's CIA counterpart. He had one in the earlier films (which, okay, are the only ones I've seen so far) :-)
