Okay, since it's the start of February sweeps this week, I'm cutting back on my spoilers. From now until the end of sweeps I can be spoiled but not read the wildfeed, and from the end of sweeps it's spoiler cold turkey.
I haven't been unspoiled since Tabula Rasa (the second episode I ever saw). I'm scared.
On the one hand I would have hated to have watched, say, Seeing Red unspoiled. On the other, I wish I could reverse time and be spoilerfree for Conversations with Dead People, which I adored. So it's a two-edged... something.
The wildfeed-free thing would be so much easier if I could avoid the net today but my exam results still aren't online (despite last Friday being the deadline). I hate the Physics department.
This also means that the First's Livejournal will be coming to an end, since I'm in the UK and don't see the episodes till at least a day after the US, sometimes a week or more. Plus people will insist on putting spoilers in the comments. I'm going to have to avoid the spoiler threads on TabRas and BAPS, but that's not such a bad thing - especially on BAPS, the second any spoilers come out there are seemingly hundreds of posts talking about how lame the episodes will be and how terrible ME are. (I know there are the voices of optimism, but sometimes they seem few and far between. And there are those like me who are pollyannas but just lurk.)
I want my exam results... (whines)

Of course, because I am a spoilerwhore, I am foregoing my sweet Drew smoochies and have read everything that's available to me. Because I am whorish. If you like, I can tell you whether or not there's another "Seeing Red" type situation on the horizon, because I totally understand that -- I don't think I could've handled that episode unspoiled. ::shudder::
Go, you! ::applauds you::
Now I'm going to go read the wildfeed and download the episodes early. I'm such a ho.

Annie, I love you. I was going to make that very same request.

I'm spoiled up through episode 17, and there's nothing like "Seeing Red" out there. Remain unspoiled. It'll pay off.
And I promise that in case the characters decide to almost-rape each other some more, or, you know, Buffy decides to have mad sex with Xander and kill Spike with her secret wooden leg, I'll quietly point you in the direction of the spoilers. Because hey -- trying to prevent the heart attacks here. ;)
And don't worry -- I won't tell you about those spoilers that reveal that Spike is really a woman in drag, and Buffy's been doing the lesbian thing for the past couple of years. D'oh! Now I've spoiled you! ::sigh:: Well, at least you don't know about Xander being gay. Phew.
All good things must end
I just saw your official goodbye (http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=thefirstevil&itemid=9519). I was hoping against hope that you'd change your mind and continue, but I understand why you decided not to.
You did such an awesome job writing the FE's LJ (and started a mini LJ Buffyverse cultural revolution to boot) that Joss himself should thank you. You made it so much fun to be a BtVS fan again :-) Thanks, Doyle!!
