An open bitch...
Aug. 15th, 2003 07:29 pmDear My Bosses,
I know you have a lot on your pointy-haired minds, what with the refit and the new staff and the problems of how to fit all your coffee breaks into one short working day, but somewhere in this melee a tiny fact seems to have escaped your attention. Vis: I am in fact not a construction worker. Simply handing an employee a hacksaw and pointing her towards a shelving unit is not a surefire way to get top-quality cutting, especially if she hasn't handled tools since she dropped Tech class at age 14.
I am, in fact, a stock jockey. I stack shelves, therefore I am. Take that away from me, and what do you have left? A pissed off employee, sure, but in this case, a pissed off employee with a hacksaw, and is that something you want? No. No, it's not.
Sincerely,
Doyle
