1) I actually own The Next Best Thing, much to my shame. Whoever told Madonna she can act needs to be shot. Evita is one thing, cause she's singing through most of it. But dear lord does she overact in everything else.
2) I saw Farewell My Concubine once because a guy I was crushing on at the time said it was his favorite movie. I remember being depressed and confused. But I liked it, too.
