Eeee. So, there was a snafu with the yuletide assignments; the one I got last night has one request I could do, which would have been an easy write for a book I liked very much, but which didn't thrill me. My real assignment, which I just got, not only has the fandom I was really really hoping I'd get to write, it's got a request for a show I didn't offer because I've only started watching but that I've been thinking "it'd be awesome to write fic for this". *glee*

I am similarly squeeful--my initial assignment was something I could do, but I would have to ignore all the recipient's optional details in order to keep my self-respect and sanity; my current one resulted in omgSQUEE.

I'm jealous--the first request I got is the same one I was reissued with. Not that that's a bad thing, as I can do it. But I was sort of looking forward for the mix. XD
