I want to take this story and hug it tight. Thank you so much! Rose was amazing, so strong and real, you can feel her breathing all through. And Torchwood felt really alive with throw-away details of its workings. It just moves, an end of the world thwarted, the again implied, and it's still another day on the job. I'm absolutely blown away by it. Rose, after everything is still herself. We watch her grow into something in canon and it's lovely to read her remain as amazing so far into the future. Such dignity. I loved watching through Gavin what she really did, worked, what she cared about.
It was something that caught her at odd moments, like seeing more of Jackie in the mirror every year, like the time six or seven years ago when she’d suddenly realised she’d been in this world longer than the one where she’d been born.

Oh, love! Just. Yeah. Thank you, again. ♥
