I'm back from Snakes on a (Motherfucking) Plane. After a worrying opening five minutes with no snakes or planes in sight, I loved it. Though I can't imagine how any ophidophobics watched it. I less-than-three our snake friends and I was careful to check the taxi home in case any were lurking behind the cushions.

(I also like planes. My main motive for seeing Flight Plan was the bits where you saw the internal workings of a jumbo jet. Yes, I'm a huge nerd and yes, this was pretty much the perfect movie for me. Samuel L Jackson was just a delicious topping on a snakey-planey cake.)

Who was it said what's-his-face, the witness guy, looked like the love child of David Boreanaz and Jamie Bamber? Because damn you, it was all I could think about, his weird Boreanaz hair and facial expressions and his Bamber-ish eyes. Maybe some freak genre-TV genetic experiment? Who knows.

I have no appropriate icon, but Tegan was possessed by an enormous plasticine snake once, so she'll have to do.

In conclusion, MOTHERFUCKING SNAKES!!

and man, those special effects in "kinda" were really top-notch. I tell you, I was petrified.

Yeah, I was the one who said that witness guy was the love child of Boreanaz and Bamber.

CUZ HE IS. He's like one of those Summers kids who is and isn't Scott and Jean's magical love baby. *grin*

Aaah, but did the motherfucking audience chant out the motherfucking line? And if not, why not? We have to get a group together to go see it, specifically to shout that line at the screen! Snakes on a Plane - the Audience Participation version? Could be the Rocky Horror of the 21st Century! :D

Hmm, really? *is surprised* I actually like snakes, so would that be my reason for seeing the movie (does anyone have a hugely valid reason?)?

Those snake free minutes were the scariest part of the movie ;P

Somewhere, David Boreanaz is reading this and going "Shit! The secret is out!"

I shall look out for this Fandom Hybrid character when I watch the film, but the idea of Boreanaz hair at large in the population rather disturbs me. I still haven't got over the time I accidentally saw "White Flag".
