Oh, thank you! I like this immensely. Your Mickey and your Doctor both feel spot-on, and the references to old companions really are exactly the sort of thing that makes me happy. And there's some wonderfully funny dialog; I actually had to stop reading for a minute at "'vroom, vroom' noises" because I was laughing so hard.
To be honest, I was more than half expecting to end up not getting a story at all. I've had bad luck with ficathons in that respect. Lots of entirely well-meaning people saying "Oh, it'll just be a week or so late" and then never actually getting around to finishing at all, for one reason or another. So this comes as a pleasant surprise. And it was well worth waiting for! I apologize most humbly for ever doubting you. :)
