I just saw Bewitched. Or rather, I just saw an hour of Bewitched before connorbeast, marymac and I agreed that we'd rather take our own lives than watch another five minutes. None of us have ever walked out of a movie before, mostly because we've paid the damn money and we're stereotypical tightwad Northern Irish scobie students, but the horror, the horror! Just when you think You Got Mail had to be the low point of Nora Ephron's writing career she finds whole new depths. Eugh.

The clips of the original show looked good, though. We'll be buying the boxset tomorrow if we can get to a Sainsburys. For now we're watching Daniel get turned into a squid on SG1 in an attempt to erase the painful memories.

(I'm a bit pleased that I've finally found a movie that was worse than Gigli. I mean, at least I was entertained by Gigli. Oh, and New York Minute had no redeeming features but it didn't dance on the grave of a show I loved as a kid, so it scores higher too.)

Wow. Glad I didn't see it! The original series is one of my all-time favorites. I fangirled it as a tot! (I think I actually watched the last season or two when they were first aired...)
