My friendslist is down to a trim 656 after baleeting some communities. Hurrah! I didn't defriend anyone who has me friended, but the little boxes made me go crosseyed, so I'm sure I've deleted vast swathes of people by mistake - let me know if you've been accidentally cut, okay?

And a meme, nicked from... somewhere. And reworded, since LJ ate my initial post with this.

1. List your favourite shows
2. People guess what your favourite 'ship is from each
3. strikethough the correctly guessed with a sentence about why they're your favourite

Okay-dokey. Some of these are a gimme (I'm not even including Doctor Who,)

1. Buffy: Buffy/Spike. What can I say, first Buffy OTP.
2. Angel: Angel/Nina. Can I just direct people to my essay? (Probably not, since I really should rewrite and update it one of these days) But, yeah. Vampire/werewolf thing. Normal girl finds out monsters are real. Relative lack of angst. It's all good.
3. Firefly: Jayne/Kaylee. They'd be so much fun. They'd talk about guns and engines and have tons of sex and it'd drive Mal crazy.
4. Smallville: Chloe/Lionel. It'd be a world of wrong, and I love that. Plus, John Glover agrees with me that Lionel loves Chloe in his own very twisted way.
5. Star Trek: DS9: Garak/Bashir. Yeah, yeah, Bashir/O'Brien too, but Garak's so damn cool and interesting and tricksy.
6. Due South: Fraser/RayV. Mounties! And cops! And the old 'country boy in the big city' schtick! Ray Vecchio was very much my One True Character for that show. Stopped watching when he left, though I've since since a couple of episodes with RayK (who is hot, I just... still love Ray V better.)
7. Lost: Boone/Locke. After Deus Ex Machina, was there any doubt? As slash, as father/son, I don't care, I just love the interaction. Locke deserves someone to worship him as a messiah love, dammit.
8. Pirates of the Carribean: Sparrow/Norrington. They're like the comedy Valjean/Javert of the seas. Only without the Frenchness and the singing. Also, to be shallow, it's Johnny Depp and Jack Davenport, and the screen would likely just combust with all the hotness.
9. The X-Files: Mulder/Krycek. Been slashing these two since Sleepless (before Krycek turned out to be such a loveable rat-bastard). Talk about your mountain of issues and potential for angry hate-sex. Not to mention how Krycek kissed him in canon.
10. House: House/Wilson. He's the only person House (openly) gives a damn about. I could actually imagine them in a relationship without having to fluffify either character. And the banter. I much appreciate the banter.
11. Dawson's Creek: Pacey/Joey. I quit watching in season 3, frustrated and convinced that she was never going to choose Pacey over Dawson and his wangst and his gigantic forehead. Then I heard about the finale. And rented it on DVD. And laughed and laughed.
12. Friends: Joey/Rachel. My campaign slogan would be Joey For Rachel's Boyfriend: Because Unlike Ross, He Doesn't Make Me Want To Stab Him or Myself In The Face. They were sweet together and it had some nice development for Joey.

Yay, a Fraser/RayV fan! (I like RayK. I do. But I loved RayV so, and I loved him with Fraser, and while I've watched the last half of the series (and even own S3 on DVD), it's just not the same.

And I feel as though I'm in a tiny, tiny minority. Particularly with the "also, I do like RayK, just not nearly as well" factor added in.

Oh wow. We have same favorite pairings in all the fandoms we have in common. That's cool. Althought in Buffy I ship many pairings (and Spuffy being one of those.)

Aw... Joey/Rachel. They actually made me watch the show for about three episodes, before I realized that they were going to break up and she would end up with the annoying guy that, inexplicably, everyone seemed to want her with.

I like RayK better, but I will say this for Vecchio -- dude has nice eyes. Very pretty.

RayK/Fraser never did have the cuteness of RayV/Fraser, sadly.

Very much with you on the Sparrow/Norrington thing, and love the comedy Valjean/Javert analogy. But without the French. And the singing. Although Jack does occassionally sing a pirate ditty.

Dammit, now you've put Valjean/Javert slash into my head, thus perverting one of my greatest loves.

I found you through a non-lj person who pointed me at your wonderful Who fic - the primordial soup line was worthy of use on the series.
