I always thought it was un-spoken canon too, but I'm so glad to know that Joss did think that way. I mean the flashbacks in Destiny alone made it canon for me.

Yeah, I saw this today too. I love Joss. I wonder if he's ever read slash. And did you also know he said during the 'Destiny had-smoke scene, when he got the script he said 'Oh Why don't they just kiss already?!'

And also, during the Caveman/Astronaut fight (I think it was then)there was a comment of 'The perfect woman for Angel' refering to Spike.
