Sooo, since I've read and adored annakovsky's Dom/Xander fic A Critique of Pure Reason - anybody got good Dom/Billy fic? Preferably long, possibly AU, and with a happy or hopeful ending?

And I am *always* glad to spread the Dom/Billy love. Lotrips is unfortunately not fantastic for long fic, just by the nature of RPF, but for happy Billy/Dom I would recommend Third Astronaut and Fourth Cop (http://www.livejournal.com/users/childeproof/4333.html) by childeproof, anything by lalejandra, but particularly Potemkin Village (http://www.livejournal.com/users/lalejandra/68649.html) and its sequel The choices were given and now you must live them (http://www.livejournal.com/users/lalejandra/69030.html). Also Drunk, Drunker, Drunkest (http://www.livejournal.com/users/queenofalostart/164744.html) which lalejandra and queenofalostart co-wrote and which is one of the hottest things ever. beizy has written nice and happy Billy/Dom you can check out at her website. And I think circe_tigana has a huge list of Lotrips recs, many of them Monaboyd, in her memories (and maybe linked from her profile, even).

Read those to start. I'll see if I come up with any other really good ones in the meantime.

And you HAVE to read Fair Game (http://www.livejournal.com/users/glasgow_blue/10028.html) by glasgow_blue, and I just read and kind of loved this really schmoopy and yet somehow completely charming series of ficlets by sophrosyne31 called Le Schmoop (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fellow_shippers/2091999.html). And... oh, I am forgetting important stuff.

Read lord_alexander's I Want Money series (AU - Dom and Andy as bank robbers, Billy as a hostage and Sean Bean as a detective. It's hilarious and wonderful) and also her medieaval/arthurian AU The Wanderer (multiple pairings) which is brilliantly written.

Can also rec anything and everything by sunsetmog (not the least because I'm writing concurrently to her *g*) and ukcalico writes the best smut in the fandom. Check out Sabotage (http://yearningvoid.net/calico/sabotage2.html) (multiple pairings of Dom/Orlando/Billy/Viggo/Elijah) and Subversion (http://yearningvoid.net/calico/subversion.html) (Billy/Dom).

Dude, isn't it? I am still completely boggled by the amazing goodness that is Third Astronaut and Fourth Cop. Such a good fucking story, and so happy and vivid it's ridiculous. I think it's my favorite Monaboyd out there, far and away.

Except that Potemkin Village makes me VERY happy, and even happier 'cause it's Lalejandra and she's NEVER happy, and when they kiss my stomach does a little jump every single time I read it. I've been meaning to thank you for requesting that fic. :-)

Pip is one of my favourite writers - she's brilliant at writing humour and there's lots more great stuff in her memories.

And Saying Goodbye (http://www.livejournal.com/users/mirabile_dictu/15684.html) by mirabile_dictu is one of my favourite fics of all times. Mira is a fabulous writer, and I'd recommend checking her lj out as well.
