The wigs! The wigs of doom!
Mar. 27th, 2003 01:57 pmWhat do you get when you watch Lies My Parents Told Me and Orpheus back-to-back? Wig phobia, that's what. Hang on, I should put this behind cut tags...
I read the script an age ago so this episode was a "meh" for me. And my two favourite parts of the script got cut!
Part the first: Giles telling Buffy about Ben. I've been waiting for that conversation since I saw The Gift and they cut it? Crap.
Part the second: Andrew's stuff, including my favourite line of the episode. Do they not realise how much I need a wav of Andrew saying "what's happenin', girlfriend?"
The first flashback provoked a squeal of "Spike doesn't look hot! How is that possible?" I liked William a lot better in Fool for Love. This version looked fifteen years older, at least (
connorbeast suggested the reason JM's wearing so much makeup is to cover the fact that his face has been padded out with putty or something in this scene, because maybe it was just the hair but his head looked twice the normal size).
Have to go since I'm in labs once again, but I'll continue this later. Also, my thoughts on Orpheus - so much more of Angel's history now makes sense to me. And Mandy... bwaa!
