I'm simultaneously dying a thousand happy deaths at canon confirmation of Spangel (HA, Spike-has-never-so-much-as-looked-at-another-guy people!) and wibbling over the "except for once". I fully intend to take it to mean "except for that stretch of time between 1880 and 1898". Ooh, or I could consider he means Angel and not Angelus, so he means he's only slept with souled Angel once!

Crossing everything for this line not to be cut.




Angel: I want you, Lindsey. (beat) I'm thinking about rephrasing that.
Lindsey: I'd be more comfortable.

You could always see 'intimate' as lovey-poofy-candles-and-rose-petals sex. So all the let-me-take-you-against-a-wall sex doesn't count...
