"It was one of the places and times where I knew for a fact the little chap would be, with little danger of impacting the timeline when I retrieved him. Imagine the effect if I'd whisked him away from that happy young man's birthday party in twentieth-century Manchester..."
It took me a second to get the reference. Then it clicked that it was Vince's birthday in Queer as Folk (UK), when Stuart gave him a K9. Then I OMFGed, if such a verb exists. Canon! It is! I don't care that I don't count the books as canon, that SO IS!
