That Pierce Brosnan movie had lied to her. Chess, Dawn thought, was the least sexy game in the world. Well, maybe after Monopoly, but there was that time when she was thirteen and Anya and Xander had been babysitting, and she’d come downstairs too quietly and gotten scarred for life.
