I'm watching Go Fish, which I haven't seen for a while. The speech Cordelia gives when she thinks Xander has turned into a monster - when she tearfully says she still wants to date him but it's okay if he 'wants to see other fish' - is possibly the sweetest thing I've ever seen on this show. Hilarious, too (little bath toys!)

Also, I have a new fictional boyfriend. The third swim team guy to die is called Gage Petronzi, and I'm in love with him.

Aside from being teh hot, Gage is the Best One-Off Character Ever. He wears Speedos! He plays pool! He gets bitten by Angelus! Buffy walks him home! (Er, Buffy/Gage ficlet for buffyverse1000 coming up) Xander has to be his bodyguard while they sit in a steamroom together! (Maybe a Xander/Gage ficlet too)

Such is the wonder of Gage that he's in the opening credits. He's the guy with the thing ripping out of his arm. Yes, sadly, he turns into a fish monster

Also Giles locking the entire swim team in the library cage gave me bad thoughts (Giles/Gage? No! Must... curb... addiction...)

How can Buffy's class have had the lowest mortality rate in years? Four of them die in this episode alone! (Okay, they shed their skins and turn into sea monsters but I'm sure they didn't come back for their SATs)

If I'm not posting much this weekend it's because I'm having far too much fun on buffyverse1000 and tigannie_con and not doing very well at catching up on my ficathon entries... but I did write Spike/Illyria/Nina.
